Team History
Roosevelt Aurora American Baseball (Formally Legion Baseball) was formed in 1953 with the sole purpose to provide Aurora area youths 15-17 years of age the opportunity to play summer organized recreational baseball.
Our teams compete from June through mid August in the Fox River Valley Colt League and play other teams from surrounding towns.

Bios
We are excited to have Kevin Holmes as the President and coach for the Roosevelt American Aurora Legion Baseball League Post 84. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, with a BS degree in secondary education.
Coach Holmes' baseball managing and coaching experience has been with the Minor, Major and Pony Aurora Boys Baseball and the Legion League. He started managing Legion Post 84 in 2001 and continues to manage the team today and his coaching philosophy is to encourage all players to do their best and work to improve, which will undoubtedly enhance their life experiences.
One of the biggest highlights of Coach Holmes' managing experience was leading Legion Post 84 in 2015, when the team won the championship finishing the season with a 19-2 record. Kevin and the team were recognized and presented awards by the City of Aurora Mayor, and IL state representatives. He was later inducted in Aurora Boys Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019.
Assisting Coach Kevin Holmes since 2019 is Jessie Pizzano.
