Team History
Roosevelt Aurora American Baseball (Formally Legion Baseball) was formed in 1953 with the sole purpose to provide Aurora area youths 15-17 years of age the opportunity to play summer organized recreational baseball.
Our teams compete from June through mid August in the Fox River Valley Colt League and play other teams from surrounding towns.

Bios
Kevin is currently the President and coach for the Roosevelt American Aurora Legion Baseball League Post 84.
Kevin graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, with a BS degree in secondary education.
Kevin’s baseball managing and coaching experience has been with the Minor, Major and Pony Aurora Boys Baseball and the Legion League. He started managing Legion Post 84 in 2001 and continues to manage the team today.
One of the biggest highlights of Kevin’s managing experience was leading Legion Post 84 in 2015, when the team won the championship finishing the season with a 19-2 record. Kevin and the team were recognized and presented awards by the City of Aurora Mayor, and IL state representatives.
Kevin was inducted in Aurora Boys Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019.
Kevin’s coaching philosophy is to encourage all players to do their best and work to improve, which will undoubtedly enhance their life experiences.

Jessie Pizzano manages/coaches one of the Roosevelt American Aurora Legion Baseball Teams, Investment Holmes Inc./Aztecs.
Jesse has coached Legion Baseball since 2019.
Also since the year 2013 to current, Jesse is the President of the Juan Pizzano Adult Baseball League.
